HOW TO PLACE AND SIZE SISER HEAT TRANSFER VINYL ON YOUR T-SHIRT?

Placing and sizing HTV can be tough but nailing your palcement and size can make your design look professional and more expensive.

Here are some guidelines on how to place and size Siser HTV:

FRONT (Square Design)

Create a center line and measure down 5 cm from the neckline along the vertical crease.

Suggested Sizes: 20×20 cm

TIP: The easiest and fastest way to find the center of a shirt is to fold the t-shirt in half lengthwise and iron/press the crease.

ACROSS CHEST (Horizontal Design)

Center the design in the upper chest area, and place it above the armpit line.

Suggested Sizes: 10×25 cm

LEFT/RIGHT CHEST

Draw two imaginary lines. The vertical line will start just off the side of the collar. The horizontal line will start at the armpit seam. Where these two lines meet is where the design should be placed.

Suggested Sizes: 9×9 cm

TIP: Do not to place the design too far to the left (or right) as it may end up in the armpit area.

LEFT/RIGHT VERTICAL

Take the left (or right) end of the collar as a reference to center the design, then experimenting with different heights. This placement is ideal for vertical graphics consisting of letters.

Suggested Sizes: 30×10 cm

TIP: Vertical postioning depends on the size of the design. Adjust as needed.

LEFT/RIGHT SLEEVE

Center the design on the sleeve area. If the design is wide,  make sure the design is aligned horizontally.

Suggested Sizes: 8,5×8,5 cm

TIP: To prevent seams from creating thickness, use a heat transfer pillow.

LOCKER PATCH

Place the design using the central vertical fold as a reference. Measure down 4 cm from the center of the neckline.

Suggested Sizes: 10×10 cm

TIP: Leave the collar out the transfer area

These are guidelines placements for adult t-shirts. All placements depend on the size of each design.
